With an already solid foundation from which to serve clients’ needs in Florida, we greatly expanded our presence and professional capabilities there by merging with the firm Mahoney, Adams & Criser in January of 1998. The Mahoney firm was one of the longest continuously operating firms in Florida and one of the largest in Jacksonville. On January 1, 2001, 12 lawyers from Martin, Ade, Birchfield & Mickler, P.A. became part of McGuireWoods. With the addition of these attorneys, our ability to deliver the services demanded by this area's broad spectrum of businesses and multinational corporations was further enhanced.
