McGuireWoods’ London-based dispute resolution team has extensive experience handling cross-border and domestic disputes, principally in the Commercial Court (and other divisions of the English High Court), and before arbitration tribunals. We act for public, private, government and nonprofit clients from varied industries and jurisdictions. We have particular experience managing complex multi-jurisdictional disputes involving many areas of practice, including fraud, banking, intellectual property, and contractual matters.

Our work often includes tracing misappropriated assets, through which we have developed a network of relationships with foreign lawyers, forensic experts and business intelligence specialists. Such disputes frequently involve obtaining and defending applications for freezing orders and other injunctive relief.
