Daniel's practice involves general corporate and commercial advice, advising both public and private companies in a wide range of sectors, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets. Much of Daniel’s work involves a cross-border or international element.

Daniel has experience advising in relation to initial public offerings of securities and further fundraisings under UK and EU financial services legislation and regulations, and in relation to public company takeovers. Daniel has undertaken ongoing compliance advisory work for public companies, and has advised clients on FSA regulatory and compliance as well as EU and UK Competition matters.

Daniel is a member of the Corporate Governance Expert Group of the Quoted Companies Alliance (an independent membership group that champions the interests of small to mid cap companies quoted on AIM and the main market of the London Stock Exchange) and is actively involved in government and regulatory consultations on boardroom diversity, directors’ remuneration and other live corporate governance issues.
