Kevin has litigated a variety of complex commercial cases at trial and appellate levels in state and federal courts. He has represented clients at preliminary injunction hearings, depositions and trials. His experience includes breach of contract cases, franchise disputes, real estate disputes and employment discrimination cases. He also has experience conducting internal investigations on behalf of corporate clients.

Representation of a major credit card company in portfolio of cases involving claims for violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Pennsylvania Fair Credit Extension Uniformity Act and the Pennsylvania Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law.

Representation of a nutritional supplement retailer in several consumer class actions asserting claims for deceptive trade practices and unjust enrichment. Representation included obtaining rulings denying class certification.

Representation of a mineral rights owner in personal injury litigation following the entrapment of several coal miners in an underground mine. Representation included obtaining summary judgment on behalf of client.

Representation of an international franchisor in a class action lawsuit by certain franchisees alleging unfair competition. Representation included obtaining summary judgment on behalf of client.

Representation of a mortgage services company in successful appeal of trial court’s dismissal of plaintiff’s claims under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Representation of an international franchisor in several lawsuits filed by franchisees claiming breach of contract and violation of various states franchise practices acts.

Representation of a major industrial equipment manufacturer in litigation seeking damages arising from the alleged failure of an electric arc furnace transformer.

Representation of a major coal producer in several age and gender discrimination lawsuits.

Representation of the operator of oil and gas wells in litigation brought by a party to the wells’ joint operating agreement in which claims for breach of fiduciary duty, partition and breach of contract were asserted.
