Larry served as managing partner of his predecessor firm for 19 years and has more than 50 years of experience in corporate federal and state securities regulation, and mergers and acquisitions. His other general corporate work has included representing banking, textile, education, venture capital and railroad clients. Currently he serves as board attorney for clients and advises on a range of corporate governance and general corporate matters, and occasionally serves as a mediator in cases before the North Carolina Business Court.

Prior to practicing law, Larry served as first lieutenant of the U.S. Infantry. While earning his LLB from New York University Law School, Larry was a Root-Tilden Scholar. As an undergraduate, he was honored as a George F. Baker Scholar.
