Trial court granted BASF's motion for summary judgment, and the 4th Circuit affirmed, Budget Pest Prevention, Inc., et al v. Bayer Corporation, et al, 561 F. 3d 282 (2009).

Representation of nominal defendant Duke Energy Corporation and several of its current directors in a shareholder derivative action in North Carolina Business Court, which arose from Duke's 2006 sale of an interest in its indirect subsidiary, Crescent Resources, LLC.
