For two decades, Sam Tarry’s legal practice has bridged the divide between law and science. From helping juries understand the root causes of public health disputes, to litigating complex medical issues before state and federal tribunals and authoring legal reference articles on epidemiology, toxicology and the academic peer review process; Sam has devoted his career to the pursuit of a common language amongst scientists, lawyers, judges and juries.

While earning his LL.M. at Georgetown University Law Center, Sam received the CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Global Health Law. As a law student at the University of Richmond School of Law, he was a member of the National Moot Court team and won best advocate at the Carrico First Year Moot Court Competition. He was also selected by his classmates to deliver the commencement address.
