When McGuireWoods launched the “Women in Private Equity to Know” Q&A series in January 2018, the goal was to set in motion a virtuous cycle. We hoped the career advice and life lessons these PE professionals offered would inspire women considering careers in private equity and those already in the industry. Through our personal and social media networks, the stories of these impressive women reached tens of thousands of people.
We are thrilled that so many of our profiles came from suggestions by industry colleagues, and we look forward to also recognizing those who are pushing for advancement of their peers. In 2019, we will publish the Q&As twice as frequently to satisfy demand, and will feature female rising stars in the industry alongside those in senior leadership positions. We welcome your suggestions for impressive women to feature.
We take seriously the responsibilities inherent in providing a platform for women to raise their profiles, share thought leadership, expand business opportunities and, most importantly, help the industry continue to make progress.
