Our Life Science Industry Group has a focused, yet disciplinary approach to serving the needs of many of the most prominent pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies. Meeting the needs of this industry requires us to be proactive to changes in the regulatory environment. This helps our life science clients succeed and differentiates our services in this industry.
McGuireWoods’ life sciences lawyers have represented clients in the areas of patent infringement in manufacturing and marketing devices; patent enforcement programs or defensive strategies; product liability litigation including multiple district litigation and class actions; ANDA; False Claims Act; antitrust audits and compliance programs; counseling about FDA regulations on pre-market clearances, post-market reporting and surveillance; and development of strategies for reimbursement from third-party payors for drug or device-related therapies.
