Ms. Ward advises on all aspects of U.K. employment law and has extensive knowledge and experience of employment tribunal litigation, for all types of claims. Her work also includes non-contentious and advisory matters related to the handling of disciplinary and grievance procedures, reorganisations and redundancies, restrictive covenants and bonuses. She principally advises directors, in-house counsel and human resources professionals of large multinational organizations, in the life sciences and healthcare, technology, consumer and automobile industries. She also advises employers and senior executives on contractual issues, from negotiating terms of appointment to handling employment disputes and terminations.
In addition, Ms. Ward regularly advises on U.K. data protection matters for domestic and international clients. Her experience includes advising on notification requirements, data processing, security and cross-border transfers, privacy notices, consents, contracts and service agreements. Ms. Ward is particularly interested in the challenges for employers associated with social media and IT use in the workplace, including the boundaries of employee monitoring and privacy rights.
