Ms. Spivey’s litigation practice focuses primarily on defending various toxic tort and products liability cases. She represents a number of manufacturers in defending asbestos, silica, and benzene claims in state and federal courts throughout the United States. She also defends medical product companies, manufacturers of recreational vehicles, and manufacturers of consumer products in product liability actions. She has participated as lead counsel during the discovery phase, and as both primary counsel and second chair in numerous jury trials in state and federal courts.

Her litigation experience also encompasses contract disputes, patent infringement matters, business torts, defending professional medical malpractice actions, and employment matters.
