Mr. Walker concentrates on mergers, acquisitions, sales, private offerings of securities, and healthcare regulatory compliance. His practice includes advising healthcare providers as well as life sciences companies. In connection with representing healthcare providers, he works with hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, specialty hospitals, large physician group practices, end-stage renal disease facilities, home health agencies and radiation oncology centers on various regulatory and transactional matters. In connection with representing life sciences companies, he focuses on mergers, acquisitions, partnering arrangements, co-development and co-marketing agreements, and regulatory counseling for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical devices companies.

He has represented lenders and borrowers in various healthcare-related financing transactions, including asset-based lending and restructuring. He has assisted in the re-syndication and start-up of numerous ambulatory surgery centers and hospital-physician joint ventures. He regularly lectures and writes on legal and regulatory issues affecting a wide range of healthcare providers and life sciences companies.
