Ms. Martin is a corporate and commercial lawyer focusing on technology, mergers and acquisitions and general commercial law.

She represents an international provider of commerce process management solutions for buyers, suppliers and communities of commerce, advising on transactional, public procurement and funding issues as well as general corporate advisory and contentious matters.

Working with key advisers to automotive manufacturers, a focus of her practice in recent years has been on the issues arising from the EU regulatory regime for motor vehicle distribution. She has advised on funding and restructuring initiatives and dealer sponsorship strategies to assist manufacturers in retaining some control over their distribution platform. She also provides general corporate advisory services to a number of dealerships in the automotive sector.

She has also acted for a substantial, and several smaller, UK tour operators, advising on transactional matters and providing general corporate, regulatory and commercial advisory services and acting on various mergers and acquisitions transactions.

Ms. Martin's advisory practice is complemented by more than 12 years of contentious experience from the early part of her career, when she regularly acted on actions in both the Commercial and Companies Courts in London. This experience has been particularly invaluable in her noncontentious work and has proved to be useful in the current economic climate, as Ms. Martin has recently advised on substantial, multijurisdictional and London-based commercial disputes.
