Ms. Jones represents clients confronted with complex litigation in adverse jurisdictions throughout the country. She has represented automobile manufacturers, product manufacturers, utility companies, and insurers in various stages of litigation from discovery to defense verdict at trial. She is experienced in advising clients on a variety of risk management practices including regulatory compliance, responses to governmental investigations, product literature reviews, and litigation management. She advises clients who need national case coordination in developing a cohesive litigation defense strategy.
A significant portion of her practice is devoted to the firm's consumer product safety team, representing clients in responding to consumer complaints or governmental reports and investigations. She has advised clients in both avoiding and implementing product recalls and in managing a variety of consumer product safety issues, including those arising under the recently enacted Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act. She has represented clients in litigation arising from nationwide recalls of foods and consumer products, and in complex commercial disputes. Representative clients include furniture, bicycle, food and mechanical component part manufacturers.
Additionally, Ms. Jones is experienced in handling investigation and defense of personal injury and property damage claims arising from large-scale explosions and fires. She has successfully represented a variety of clients in numerous such matters throughout the country.
Ms. Jones is also active in pro bono matters and community activities, serving on several boards of directors.
