Mr. Izakowitz's practice concentrates on providing immigration law services for business clients, including preparing and processing applications for both non-immigrant and permanent resident visas; advising employers on compliance with immigration laws; and informing businesses and individuals about visa alternatives, including visas based on investments in the United States.

He has extensive experience representing companies and universities, as well as individuals from Western Europe, Latin America, Asia and the rest of world, in obtaining the following visas, among others:

  • H-I B Visas - He has represented numerous professionals around the world, including business executives, engineers, doctors, professors, architects and workers in the computer industry, in obtaining visas allowing them to work for U.S.-based employers.
  • L-1 Visas - He has prepared and processed visas allowing for intracompany transfer of managers, executives and persons with specialized knowledge from foreign companies to related U.S. companies.
  • E-I Treaty Trader and E-2 Treaty Investor Visas - He has obtained visas for investors, managers, executives and key employees from Japan, Korea, England, France, Germany, Italy and other countries to come to the United States to set up and run businesses.
  • Employment-Based Permanent Resident Visas - He has handled permanent resident or "green card" applications in all employment-based categories for individuals from dozens of countries throughout the world, including persons of extraordinary ability in business, education, sciences, arts and athletics; outstanding professors and researchers; managers and executives of multinational companies; persons of exceptional ability; professional workers; and skilled and unskilled workers.
