Mr. Ayscue, a generalist in both trial and appellate work, has tried to verdict as lead counsel major cases in areas including antitrust, products liability, professional liability, libel, employment discrimination, covenants not to compete, ERISA, breach of trust, tax refund and banking law. He has prosecuted suits to reform trusts and wills; defended patent validity and infringement and civil rights cases; and defended to settlement several securities fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and employment discrimination class actions.

He has led or co-chaired U.S. delegations of judges and lawyers in legal exchanges with China, Cuba and Great Britain. He also has substantial mediation experience as an advocate, as well as extensive training as a mediator and arbitrator.
