Mr. Mathews focuses on environmental, toxic tort, occupational safety and health (OSHA/MSHA), and land use litigation. He also has significant general commercial litigation experience, and he has represented local governments on a wide range of matters including civil rights, tax and antitrust litigation. He has handled cases in all levels of the Virginia court system and in North Carolina, Maryland, West Virginia, Missouri, Iowa, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, New Jersey, Utah and California.
