Mr. Schill, who headed the firm's Litigation Department from 1992-1999, practices in the areas of complex commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, college and university law, and health care. He has extensive experience in the management of high stakes commercial and product litigation and difficult discovery disputes.

He also has devoted a substantial portion of his practice to defending health insurers in statutory, regulatory and constitutional issues, disputes with insureds and providers, and related matters. He represents several colleges and universities, for which he handles a variety of legal problems. He has tried numerous cases involving trademarks, trade dress, tenure, academic freedom, defamation, breach of contract, student rights, athletic issues, public finance, tax, securities, construction and other types of disputes.
