Ms. Katsantonis is chair of the firm's Energy and Utilities Department. She has practiced in the Chicago and Brussels offices, and now practices in Richmond. She has concentrated her practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, finance and business law.

M&A Practice

Ms. Katsantonis devotes a significant portion of her practice to advising purchasers and sellers of business organizations, representing both strategic and financial purchasers. She assists clients in the structuring, financing, negotiation and consummation of business acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, reorganizations, spin-offs, and joint ventures, including leveraged and management-sponsored buy-outs. She has been involved in transactions that have ranged in size from several million dollars to in excess of several billion dollars, and involving diverse industries globally.

Finance

Ms. Katsantonis also concentrates in the area of finance and securities. She has represented large corporate and middle market borrowers in structuring, documenting, negotiating, and closing all types of loan transactions, including syndicated loans, secured and unsecured facilities, working capital facilities, revolvers, multi-currency facilities, term loans, asset-based loans, and off-balance sheet receivables and asset financings. Her experience also includes representing clients in public and private offerings of debt and equity securities.

Business Law Practice

Ms. Katsantonis also is the partner responsible for the day-to-day representation of a number of the firm's clients and provides general corporate advice.
