Mr. Hylak-Reinholtz concentrates on corporate law and regulatory matters for healthcare entities. His experience includes advising clients with respect to Medicare and Medicaid, HIPAA, certificate of need, licensure issues, and general healthcare compliance matters. He has more than 10 years of experience in Illinois government, developing an understanding of complex issues from a legislative, advocacy, and executive viewpoint.
During this time, he focused on legislative, budgetary, and regulatory issues for many healthcare provider groups. He has vast experience in provider reimbursement under state and federal healthcare programs, a comprehensive understanding of state and federal statutes affecting healthcare entities such as nursing homes and assisted living facilities, and previously led efforts to implement new policies and programs such as the All Kids Health Insurance Program and the redesign of the state pharmaceutical assistance programs due to the implementation of Medicare Part D.
