Mr. Brooks focuses his practice on real estate and business transactions. He is active in the preparation and negotiation of contracts and documents involved in a broad range of transactions.

Financing

Mr. Brooks represents borrowers and lenders in a broad range of commercial real estate financing transactions, including transactions involving the acquisition and disposition of real property assets, mortgage loans and loan portfolios, mortgage loan originations, and mezzanine loan originations.

Leasing

Mr. Brooks represents landlords and tenants in connection with the leasing of real property and licenses relating to real estate transactions.

Corporate and Securities

Mr. Brooks has experience representing issuers and underwriters in securities offerings and securitization transactions, including equity and debt offerings and real estate mortgage investment conduits. He has also represented buyers and sellers of public and private companies.
