Mr. Dow concentrates his practice on public, project and commercial finance. He represents issuers, borrowers, lenders, underwriters and other participants in taxable and tax-exempt transactions for economic development, energy, manufacturing, transportation, athletic facility and health and higher education projects, among others. His experience includes public offerings and private placements of transactions that utilize state and local incentives, federal tax credits and other enhancements. In addition, he has participated in a variety financings for residential and mixed-use projects secured by tax increment revenues and other revenue streams.
Mr. Dow devotes a substantial portion of his practice to structuring and negotiating energy efficiency and other renewable energy project financings, including projects under state and local government-sponsored programs, federal energy savings performance contract programs, and a variety of industrial and commercial projects.
Mr. Dow regularly counsels financial institutions, governmental entities and corporate clients in state and federal securities matters, tax controversy matters and other regulatory compliance matters.
