Mr. Bilik practices in the firm's Complex Commercial Litigation Department, with an emphasis on complex business litigation matters. He has extensive experience litigating and arbitrating commercial contract matters, business torts, and distribution and franchising disputes. His practice also includes financial services, real property and mass environmental toxic tort litigation. In addition to commercial and business litigation, he counsels clients on high-exposure toxic tort, personal injury and wrongful death matters with the potential for punitive damages.

He regularly counsels corporate clients on electronic discovery and preservation issues. He is a member of the firm's electronic data discovery team, and a member of The Sedona Conference's Working Group 1 on Electronic Discovery. He is a frequent speaker to corporate law departments and bar associations on electronic discovery issues.

Mr. Bilik's experience also includes serving for a year as in-house litigation counsel for Michelin North America, Inc., with responsibility for managing commercial litigation and franchising matters.
