Ms. Elbert focuses on employee benefits litigation. She also counsels clients in all aspects of qualified and nonqualified retirement plans and welfare plans, and assists employers in complying with tax laws, ERISA, and other legal requirements. She has represented employers before the IRS, the Department of Labor, the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, and in federal and state courts. In 2009, Ms. Elbert was named a Virginia Super Lawyers "Rising Star" by Law & Politics magazine.
