Ms. Aschenbrenner practices within the firm’s Tax and Employee Benefits Department, focusing her work in employee benefits including qualified plans under Section 401 of the Internal Revenue Code and welfare plans. Her practice includes advising in-house legal counsel and human resources departments with respect to establishment, qualification, administration, termination, and plan design issues; and addressing employee benefits related issues in merger and acquisition transactions. She also represents plan sponsors in submissions to the IRS and DOL related to qualification issues.
