Mr. Washington focuses on U.K. employment law with experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law areas. He advises primarily corporate clients on a range of matters, including U.K. employment law aspects of local and international mergers and acquisitions, and practical HR issues arising through the employment of staff in the U.K. such as disciplinary, performance management and redundancy.

He is experienced in conducting Employment Tribunal litigation, recently representing clients in complex claims involving allegations of discrimination, harassment and personal injury.

Mr. Washington has also spent time on secondment to the in-house legal team of a major international broadcasting company, where he was responsible for the provision of legal advice and support to the organisation's HR team on a range of employment and HR issues.
