Ms. Doubet King concentrates her practice in areas relating to compensation and employee benefits issues facing corporate employers, governmental employers and not-for-profit employers. She advises employers and financial institutions on ERISA Title I issues relating to structuring investment products, identifying investment advice issues, adopting appropriate fee arrangements, and assessing the trustee's or service provider's role in the modern financial services industry.

She also works with employers to design and implement qualified plans, welfare plans, fringe benefits and other compensation arrangements, focusing on plan administration, vendor negotiations and compliance initiatives relating to qualified plans and welfare plans. She assists employers in developing compliance protocols for various human resources functions, including COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and flex plan administration and ERISA reporting and disclosure requirements.

Ms. Doubet King also serves as an adjunct professor in the Employee Benefits LLM program at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
