Ms. Germaise focuses on real estate, construction and general business litigation. She serves as counsel for institutional and private landlords and tenants, and buyers and sellers in all types of real estate litigation matters, including lease disputes, purchase and sale disputes, broker's commission disputes, bankruptcy proceedings and litigation regarding title issues. She also represents owners, contractors and design professionals in construction disputes and mechanic's lien litigation involving commercial buildings and private residences, and counsels and defends claims involving Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

In addition to her real estate litigation practice, Ms. Germaise also represents clients in a broad range of commercial matters including contract disputes and employment claims, as well as consumer-related litigation. She has defended claims involving alleged violations of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, and state consumer protection and unfair trade practices statutes, including Business & Professions Code Section 17200 claims.

She was named in Real Estate Southern California's special "40 under 40" feature, and was been designated a "Rising Star" by Law and Politics and the publishers of Los Angeles magazine in 2007, 2006 and 2005.
