Mr. Heberton's practice places particular emphasis on the representation of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies engaged in development, acquisition, leasing, licensing, management and financing of various service, software, manufacturing, health care, and real estate opportunities. He has represented companies in numerous areas of law including mergers, corporate acquisitions, transactional negotiations, securities and tax matters. He has acted as outside general counsel to his clients, covering all areas of law.

He has extensive experience in the development, financing (debt and equity), acquisition, and sale of office, retail, and mixed-use projects and joint ventures investing in operating businesses. His practice also includes extensive work with overseas investors participating in U.S. real estate investments and developments.

Prior to returning to private practice, Mr. Heberton was also employed as vice president and general counsel to a multidisciplined real estate development company, which financed, developed and syndicated various types of commercial and multifamily real estate projects. He also has extensive experience on behalf of owners and developers in the restructuring and work out of distressed properties. During more than 20 years as a lawyer and a businessman, he has gained experience in a wide spectrum of issues which affect his clients.
