Gerum primarily focuses his practice in structuring, negotiating and documenting syndicated, club, single lender and multicurrency credit facilities.

His experience includes cash-flow, asset-based, leveraged acquisition, leveraged recapitalization and real estate financing transactions, including senior secured, second lien and mezzanine debt.  He has particular experience in representing financial institutions with the financing of pharmaceutical and medical device companies, physician groups, skilled nursing facilities and other healthcare providers.

Represented the administrative agent and co-lead arranger in connection with a $45,000,000 senior secured credit facility to support a private equity sponsor’s acquisition of a manufacturer of prosthetic devices.

Represented the administrative agent and lead arranger in connection with a $55,000,000 senior secured credit facility to finance the leveraged recapitalization of a manufacturer of medical devices.

Represented the administrative agent and sole-lead arranger in connection with a $300,000,000 senior unsecured credit facility for a provider of water-related services.

Represented the lender in connection with a $40,000,000 senior secured credit facility for a provider of skilled nursing and long term care facilities.

Represented the administrative agent and lead arranger in connection with a $110,500,000 senior secured credit facility for a provider of services to long-term care facilities.
