McGuireWoods' Terry Bagley Joins Campbell Law School Board of Visitors

September 9, 2010

McGuireWoods LLP announced today that the firm’s deputy managing partner and litigation practice head, Terrence M. “Terry” Bagley, has been selected to join Campbell Law School’s newly formed board of visitors.

The board is composed of a select group of renowned leaders in business and law, assembled to serve as an ongoing resource for innovative ideas, and to act as a sounding board for the dean, senior administration, and faculty. Each member will serve a renewable two-year term and attend biannual meetings. The inaugural meeting is Sept. 9-10, 2010, at the law school’s Raleigh campus.

Board members will serve as thought leaders, assist with developing and evaluating the law school’s strategic plan and new initiatives, and help guide the implementation of best practices to enhance the law school’s national visibility. Members will also help foster relationships throughout the legal and business communities, nonprofit organizations, higher education institutions, and government agencies interested in partnering with the law school.

“I’m honored to have been selected to serve on the board with such a distinguished group of professionals,” Bagley said. “I look forward to serving my alma mater and giving back to the next generation of Campbell law graduates.”

Founded in 1976, the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University has been recognized by the American Bar Association as having the nation’s top professionalism program, and by the American Academy of Trial Lawyers for having the nation’s best trial advocacy program. For 22 years, its success record on the North Carolina Bar Exam has been unsurpassed by any other North Carolina law school. For information, visit www.law.campbell.edu.com.
