Anne Hampton focuses her practice on energy and utility regulation and compliance before the Virginia State Corporation Commission.

Before joining McGuireWoods, Anne Hampton served as a law clerk to Judge Eugene E. Siler, Jr., U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Anne Hampton also gained experience as an associate at an international law firm in Richmond, Virginia. Immediately following law school, Anne Hampton served as a law clerk to then-Justice Donald W. Lemons of the Supreme Court of Virginia.

While in law school, Anne Hampton served as the Senior Notes Editor to the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal, was a student member of the I’Anson-Hoffman Inn of Court and interned for Chief Judge Felton on the Court of Appeals of Virginia. Prior to attending law school, Anne Hampton served on the staffs of then-Governor Timothy M. Kaine and Senator Thomas K. Norment, Jr.
