Jeff focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and investigative matters.  He has successfully represented financial institutions, government contractors, and a variety of other businesses at the trial and appellate level, in single plaintiff and class action lawsuits, in both state and federal courts throughout the country.  He also routinely assists these same clients with sensitive internal investigations and their defense against regulatory enforcement actions.

Additionally, Jeff has significant experience defending employers against allegations of discrimination and retaliation made under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and other federal and state employment-related statutes.

Jeff maintains an active pro bono practice. He primarily focuses his pro bono efforts on assisting survivors of domestic violence in their efforts to secure asylum here in the United States and to secure civil protective orders in D.C. Superior Court.

Prior to joining the firm, Jeff clerked for the Honorable Sue L. Robinson, U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware; he also clerked for the Honorable Robert O. Baldi, Bucks County Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas. While in law school, Jeff was a staff member on the Catholic University Law Review, intern in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, and a judicial extern for the Honorable Joel A. Pisano, U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
