Sarah represents regulated energy companies before state utility commissions, including the State Corporation Commission of Virginia. She has assisted in representing utility clients in complex regulatory litigation, including proceedings involving certificates of public convenience and necessity for transmission and generation projects, integrated resource plans, and affiliates approvals. Sarah has also assisted in representing utility clients on newer issues in the energy industry, including grid modernization and energy storage technologies.

Before joining McGuireWoods, Sarah served as a law clerk to the Honorable John A. Gibney, Jr., of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. 

While in law school, Sarah served as the Manuscripts Editor for the University of Richmond Law Review and Chancellor of the Walter Scott McNeill Law Honor Society. She graduated first in her law school class.

Before law school, Sarah worked in the trust and estate planning division of a local bank.
