Susan focuses her practice on corporate and private equity transactions. She represents public and privately-held companies, private equity funds, and institutional investors across multiple industries in a wide range of transactional matters, including platform and add-on acquisitions, mergers, equity investments, divestitures, recapitalizations, joint ventures, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and general corporate matters.
Susan serves as an adjunct professor for a Mergers & Acquisitions course at the Duquesne University School of Law. Susan also serves as an executive committee member for the Women’s Bar Association of Western Pennsylvania and as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters. She also holds the CIPP/US credential as a Certified Information Privacy Professional from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Susan received her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, magna cum laude, where she was actively involved with the University of Pittsburgh Legal Analysis and Writing Program as a Teaching Assistant, the University of Pittsburgh Law Review as a Research Editor, and the Pennsylvania Superior Court as a Judicial Intern. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton, where she graduated summa cum laude from the University Honors Program.
