Blaec’s practice focuses on representing financial services clients, including actions involving breach of contract and fraud claims, statutory violations regarding the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Truth-in-Lending Act, and Telephone Consumer Protection Act, as well as state consumer protection statutes.

Further, Blaec has extensive experience handling mortgage-related litigation in both state and federal court, including both the defense and prosecution of matters. Blaec also has experience representing banks and lenders in affirmative actions involving the enforcement of business loans.

In addition, Blaec supported the in-house legal department of a large financial institution, managing and defending a portfolio of mortgage-related litigation for two years. Blaec performed all functions of an in-house counsel, including overseeing more than 150 matters, developing strategy and settlement recommendations, supervising outside counsel, and coordinating with client decision-makers from various lines of business. This valuable experience provides Blaec with a strong foundation when working with clients and understanding how best to assist them.
