J.D. practices corporate law with a concentration on complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, recapitalizations and joint ventures. His practice also includes general corporate representation, including negotiating and drafting complex commercial contracts and advising clients on corporate governance matters.

While earning his law degree from Emory University School of Law, J.D. was a dean's teaching fellow and participated in a two-year multidisciplinary program through the law school and the Georgia Institute of Technology's College of Management that focused on the commercialization and funding of early stage technologies.
