Paul R. Coury Associate

Paul focuses his practice on data privacy as well as corporate, and private equity transactions. He regularly works for public and private companies and private equity funds in a wide variety of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, minority investments, commercial transactions, and corporate governance matters. He also has gathered experience assisting corporations with a range of data privacy issues, including updating privacy/cookie policies, drafting records retention schedules, and apprising clients with updates to data privacy laws both in the US and EU.

Paul received his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2016, where he graduated as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Technology Law & Policy. He received his undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh College of Business, where he graduated cum laude. 

Paul also clerked for Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Max Baer.

Representation Silver Oak Services Partners, an Illinois-based private equity firm, in its buyout of Integrated Oncology Network, a physician management, radiation oncology management and cancer center development company.

Representation of Triangle Capital Corp. (NYSE: TCAP), a business development company, in the $981.2 million sale of its investment portfolio to funds advised by Benefit Street Partners, a leading credit-focused alternative asset management firm with over $24 billion in assets under management.

Representation of a dermatology practice and its practice management company in the add-on acquisition of an Ohio-based cosmetic and reconstructive surgery practice.

Representation of a dermatology practice and its practice management company in the add-on acquisition of an Michigan-based cosmetic and medical dermatology practice.
