Thomas focuses his practice on defending clients in toxic tort and products liability litigation.

Before joining McGuireWoods, Thomas clerked for the Honorable Henry E. Hudson, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Thomas graduated first in his class from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief for the University of Richmond Law Review and was a member of the McNeill Law Society.   During law school, Thomas earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Appellate Courts, Civil Litigation, Constitutional Jurisprudence, Federal Courts, Legal History, and Remedies.  He also received the T.C. Williams Law School Scholarship Award, presented to the graduating student who made the most significant contribution to legal scholarship.
