Justin primarily handles M&A and cross-border transactions with an emphasis on green energy and China-related transactions. He also regularly assists in financings and due diligence reviews. Proficient in Mandarin Chinese, Justin is often called on to attend meetings with Chinese investors as well as to translate and review various documents.

Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Justin spent several years in China. He attended four years of advanced studies courses at Shanghai Teachers University and Tong Ji University in Shanghai. He was the founder and general editor of The Urbanity Project, a book compilation of art and essays that explored the intersection of the urban and the human. Justin also served there as the director of Thought and Culture Shapers, a strategy for a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the community through arts.
