Jacob R. Franchek Associate

Jacob Franchek's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation.  He assists individual and corporate clients in a variety of securities, complex commercial, and financial services litigation matters.  He also assists clients in matters relating to American Indian law.

Before joining McGuireWoods, Jacob received his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston and his Juris Doctorate from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.  During law school, he worked as a legal intern for the Oglala Sioux Tribe and assisted Washington University’s Center for Empirical Research in the Law in their Tribal Law Online codification and digitization project.  Jacob also served as a Notes Editor for the Washington University Law Review.  He was honored as a Student Marshal at his graduation from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, and was awarded the Breckinridge Academic Award (First Honors) in 2017 for his academic performance at the University.
