Adam strives to develop and maintain close-working relationships with the financial institutions, insurance companies, private equity firms and developers he represents by being responsive, resourceful and reliable. Having represented agent-banks, lenders, borrowers and investors, he works to achieve transactions that protect his clients while preserving the important relationship between both parties.

He primarily represents financial institutions, mezzanine lenders, equity providers, and borrowers in a variety of financing transactions including:

  • Syndicated, club and bilateral credit facilities
  • Real estate-based construction and acquisition financing
  • Asset-based lending and cash flow lending
  • Energy and cleantech project financing
  • Leveraged acquisition financing
  • REIT financing
  • Corporate and asset-based restructure financing
  • Derivative transactions - interest rate swaps, caps and collars, and commodity hedges

While earning his law degree from the University of Virginia, Adam served as President of the Student Bar Association and was a participant in The Law & Business Program. As an undergraduate, he was a Robert Kent Gooch Scholar, an Echols Scholar, a Lawn Resident and a member of the Honor Counsel.

Adam has traveled to more than 100 countries on seven continents and is a ranking contributor on MostTraveledPeople.com. An Eagle Scout and avid hiker, he has visited nearly every national park in the United States.

Represented administrative agent and lender on a $110 million senior secured syndicated term credit facility obtained by an SPE for the acquisition and re-development of a 30-story office building in Charlotte, NC.

Represented administrative agent and lender on a $350 million senior secured syndicated revolving credit facility obtained by a REIT.

Represented mortgage lender on a $40 million secured term credit facility obtained by an SPE for the renovation and construction of a mixed-use project in Houston, TX.
