Matt Gold’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and internal corporate investigations.

Before joining the firm, Matt served as a judicial extern for Justice Robert Steigmann of the 4th District Appellate Court of Illinois and Judge Arnold Blockman of the 6th Judicial Circuit of Illinois. As a student, Matt was a teaching assistant for Tort Law and Professional Responsibility courses. He earned CALI Awards for the highest grade in Illinois Constitutional Law; HR, Employment Law & Multinational Corporations; and Illinois Civil Procedure & Evidence.

Prior to law school, Matt interned for the City of Chicago’s Department of Buildings, the City of Chicago’s Department of Business Affairs & Consumer Protection, and the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.

In addition to his legal practice, Matt judges high school debate tournaments within the National Forensics League and the Illinois Congressional Debate Association.
