Kyle is a litigator who focuses on commercial disputes, debtor-creditor issues (including bankruptcy and insolvency), and appeals.  He has significant experience assisting businesses and their executives with the assertion and defense of contract, fraud, and fiduciary claims.  Kyle has drafted motions and briefs before federal and state courts at the trial and appellate level on a variety of issues and maintains an active pro bono practice.

Before joining McGuireWoods, Kyle clerked for the Honorable Julie E. Carnes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and, prior to her elevation, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.  During his third year of law school, Kyle interned for the Honorable John A. Gibney Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. 

Kyle graduated from Washington and Lee University School of Law, where he served as a Burks Scholar, research assistant to Professor Erik Luna, and notes editor for the Journal of Energy, Climate, and the Environment and was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa and Phi Delta Phi.  He is a native of Denver, Colorado.
