Annie’s practice focuses on product liability and consumer litigation. Annie has represented clients in connection with consumer class actions, multidistrict litigation, environmental litigation, medical devices litigation, and commercial contract disputes.
Before joining McGuireWoods, Annie was a summer clerk for the Honorable Judge S. Arthur Spiegel of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. While earning her degree at Boston University School of Law, Annie served on the executive board of her school’s Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA). She also served as a Legal Writing Fellow for the 1L writing program and was a J. Newton Esdaile Moot Court Director. Annie is proficient in spoken Mandarin Chinese.
Annie is committed to closing the justice gap through her pro bono work. She represents victims of domestic abuse through the Central Virginia Legal Aid Society, helps pro bono clients achieve no-fault divorces through the University of Richmond School of Law’s clinic program, and represents clients experiencing Landlord/Tenant issues through the housing clinic at Legal Aid Justice Center.
Annie is also active in her community. Annie currently serves as a member on the YP Board of Junior Achievement of Central Virginia. Annie also serves as a chair for the Young Lawyers Conference Admission & Orientation Ceremony committee of the Virginia State Bar. In 2016, Annie received an Outstanding Service Award from the Virginia State Bar for her service and leadership with the Young Lawyers Conference.
