Jarrod is a member of the firm’s complex commercial litigation team with an emphasis on defending financial service entities against claims of state and federal statutory violations.
Jarrod has experience litigating claims under the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Truth in Lending Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act in both state and federal courts, including related appeals, as well as representing clients in Consumer Financial Protection Board inquiries. In addition, Jarrod represents companies in a broad range of disputes from breach of contract and related duties to fraud and other personal injury torts.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Jarrod represented individuals and corporations in a variety of practice areas including real estate litigation, franchise dispute, Lanham Act false advertising and trademark infringement litigation, professional liability and personal injury.
After graduating from law school, Jarrod served as judicial clerk to Superior Court Judges the Honorable Roger W. Dunaway, Jr., and the Honorable Harold A. Hinesley, of the Toombs Judicial Circuit.
