Kayla's practice focuses on financial services and commercial litigation. She has experience representing financial institutions in actions involving consumer lending, credit reporting, debt collection, and unfair business practices litigation. She has also litigated claims for breach of contract, fraud, and other business-related claims.

Kayla received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and her JD from the University of Virginia School of Law. During law school, she was an Articles Editor for the Virginia Law Review. She also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable James P. Jones of the Western District of Virginia and as an intern for the Legal Aid Justice Center.
