Melissa D. Neff Sr. VP, MWCAdvocacy, McGuireWoods Consulting LLC

Missy is a senior vice president at McGuireWoods Consulting where she works in the firm's MWCAdvocacy group.  She assists clients on a wide variety of healthcare, natural resources, and educational legislative issues at the federal, state, and local level and has developed strong relationships statewide with a wide range of constituencies.

For over 15 years Missy has worked on behalf of clients at the Virginia General Assembly. In addition to her work at McGuireWoods Consulting, she was the director of government relations for The Nature Conservancy and also served as assistant secretary of natural resources under Virginia Governor Tim Kaine.  Working for the private sector, a national conservation organization, and for state government has given Missy a unique perspective on how to help clients accomplish their goals.

In addition to earning her undergraduate degree from Meredith College, Missy is a 2006 graduate of the Political Leaders Program of the University of Virginia's Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership.

McGuireWoods Consulting

McGuireWoods Consulting LLC ("MWC") is a wholly owned subsidiary of the McGuireWoods LLP law firm. From time to time, various McGuireWoods lawyers provide non-legal services to MWC clients, but MWC cannot provide legal services or advice. Therefore, any work MWC performs for a client does not give rise to an attorney-client relationship or privilege. Should you require legal services from McGuireWoods, as well as consulting services from MWC, you must engage the law firm separately.
