Ashley focuses her practice on commercial, business, and securities litigation.  She assists a wide array of companies in all aspects of commercial litigation and dispute resolution.

Before joining McGuireWoods, Ashley served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Edward E. Carnes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and to Chief Judge Glen E. Conrad of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia.

In law school, Ashley served as an Articles & Comments Editor for the University of Richmond Law Review and was inducted into the Walter Scott McNeill Law Honor Society. At graduation, Ashley was awarded the Charles T. Norman Award, which the University presents to the best all-around student in each graduating class, as selected by the law faculty.

Before attending law school, Ashley spent six years teaching high school English in Hanover County, Virginia.
