Bethany has extensive experience in all aspects of labor and employment law, including wage and hour law compliance and related litigation. Her practice is focused on defending employers against harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and reasonable accommodation claims, and against class action and collective action lawsuits brought by and on behalf of employees claiming wage and hour violations. She also has extensive experience litigating claims for misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, and related claims, as well as complex commercial litigation matters.

Bethany’s practice areas include state and federal civil actions and administrative actions before the EEOC, the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and the California Labor Commissioner. She has represented financial institutions, educational institutions, hospitals, foodservice firms, government agencies, manufacturers, hospitality industry clients, and staffing firms. She also provides management training and seminars regarding leaves of absence and compliance with equal employment opportunity laws, including prevention of workplace harassment and discrimination.
